Camp Care Weekend
November 5, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hosted by the Camp Northwoods Alumnae Association.
Calling all Alumnae (and your families), we need your help…again! Come to Northwoods and help us with a variety of service projects that may include: taking down beds and netting in the tents, packing and inventorying gear, trail maintenance, general camp maintenance, and cleaning buildings. No experience required, tools will be provided or bring your own. All ability levels are encouraged to come, there is a task for everyone.
Dates: Camp Care Day is on Saturday – November 5th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
You are welcome to arrive Friday – November 4th after 4:00 pm and stay until Sunday – November 6th until 2:00 pm.
Cost: There is no charge for this event! Use this weekend to give back to camp, show off Northwoods to your loved ones, and enjoy the crisp autumn air.
COVID: We will follow the Council’s policies
Lodging: Lodging is available at no cost Friday and/or Saturday night on a first come first serve basis. Come and go as you please.
Meals: You must provide your own meals, except for Saturday lunch, which is provided. Snacks will also be provided. Kitchens and food storage (cool and dry) will be available to use and will be provided.
Transportation: You will have to provide your own transportation.
Non-Alumnae: Families really are welcome! Spouses, kids, and friends. Or, bring your whole Girl Scout Troop! The more the merrier.
Other: Please wear clothing suitable for the outdoors.
