Our events are open to all alumnae. That includes anyone with any Girl Scout involvement – whether you were a Brownie 50 years ago or are a brand new troop leader.

Karen Klose Celebration of Life
Karen will be celebrated on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm at one
of her favorite places, Girl Scout Camp Elk River on the Timbermeade site.
Camp is located at 10775 – 237th Ave. Northwest, Zimmerman, MN 55398
A light meal will be served.
Please dress casually. The event will be held outdoors.
There is a building with restrooms and other amenities on site.
If you are able, please bring a lawn chair or sit-upon for yourself and an extra one for someone who may not have one.
Parking is available on site.
A life that deserves Celebration!!
If you are unable to attend but want to help honor Karen, the family has shared that donations in her name can be made to Our Lady of Peace Hospice Care Center located at 2076 St. Anthony Ave, St. Paul, MN 55104.
